Wow, I’m so sorry to hear Germany has so quickly thrown away the lessons of it’s own not-so-distant history. I’m so glad the kids know better!

When I was a kid there decades ago, I was pretty damned clueless & yet I still came away feeling surprised at just how much it seemed they were drilling in the shame over their past into the kids in school. It felt a lot like visiting the sins of the fathers upon the children to me. I wonder if they went too hard, and inadvertently caused some backlash.
