Has anyone got any information about the Black People’s Union? eg, the history of the organisation, who founded it and when, who the major sources of funds are etc? There’s no information on their website about this.

Looking into them a bit further they basically want all non-Indigenous Australians to leave or live under their system

Join the Black Peoples Union in the call for a treaty between the Sovereign Indigenous Nations of this continent and help us work towards a future where our rights and sovereignty are respected and upheld, and where the illegitimate state of Australia is dismantled and replaced by a Union of Sovereign Indigenous Nations in a true revolution and liberation of Indigenous peoples.

  They have plenty of information about what the beliefs are and what is wanted.
  
  Just none about anything else, so how can anybody tell if it’s a legitimate organisation with thousands of members, or one bloke standing on a soapbox?

Unlike many other political organisations and unions, the BPU receives no funding from the colonial Government or capitalist Corporations. We believe that a large part of self-determination is ridding ourselves from the constraints and conditions that come with being financially subservient to our exploiters and oppressors - only by being financially independent can we be in a position to challenge the capitalist and colonial structures.
