Comment on Windows 12 release date in 2026 possible, with AI features that may force CPU upgrades
untorquer@quokk.au 2 weeks agoWindows is already occupying your hardware and network with “telemetry”. I would be surprised if telemetry overhead alone was all that was needed to burden modern hardware and yet when i boot into windows those fans never shut up.
