No doubt. In response to such a joke, boomers would take credit for a time when the military was successful. My reply is an attempt to preemptively take the wind out of their sails.
What do you mean? Vietnam was successful at destroying free press so no conflict after it would ever show the people the true horrors of war.
Right wingers literally think the US won every single war its fought. Even when it accomplished none of its objectives.
