Comment on Without getting in a fight. Why is it called coming out of the closest? Where did it begin? I mean why not a garagde or a bedroom or something? How did it become a reference to homosexuals?

Isn’t “keeping it in the closet” an English language idiom that just means “to keep it secret”? I’d always figured “coming out of the closet” evolved from there.
