the police aren’t saying “wait, that’s illegal,” they’re shooting people who call attention to the illegality
also, recall uvalde: they stood around outside a school, preventing anyone from going in, while a mass shooter was inside murdering kids
america is well and truly fucked, dude. no one should be looking at this shithole country with anything but contempt and disgust

There are literal corrupt police in the Untied States but in the context of my rant, I was using police as a metaphor for the people who should be holding Trump accountable but are failing to act
