What?
No.
Darwin married his first cousin, yeah…that was the social norm at the time, not long ago.
But he hypothesized and later proved that the inbreeding was a direct cause of his children’s poor health.
I wouldn’t say he was a fan of inbreeding, just a reluctant participant who eventually warned us of its dangers.
