Iron_Lynx@lemmy.world 1 week agoI recall a story where there was a water restriction on a town for everyone, except for the golf courses. The next day, the golfers found that the Holes had been filled with cement, supposedly poured in there by activists.

Not a big deal. They move the holes every week to keep the wear on the green even. There is a hand tool that cuts the hole and you drop the plug in the old one. The cup is just a plastic sleeve. It takes less than 10 minutes a hole.
