DmMacniel@feddit.org 1 week agowas it though? I guess it depend on having a mouse, a second floppy drive and a printer. You could thus use it as a desktop publishing platform, or spreadsheet calculator.

Nope, it was slow to load and use compared with text-based software for doing the same thing back in the day. An Amstrad PCW was better for actual work
