The way pfoas are treated is stupid. You should not want that stuff used on office supply, cooking utensils or pans, TVs, computers, or home and garden stuff. That’s good. But there are applications such as power plant parts, aircraft parts, laser parts etc that cannot easily be done differently.

It’s like looking at a nuclear reactor and deciding… Hmm uranium would be great as a Teddy bear stuffing fire suppression compound! And it also could stop common fires like wedding cake fires and bday cake fires! Let’s pollute this river since this stuff is not cheap enough for cup cakes!
