Comment on what does your "workshop" look like?
Scrath@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 days agoSounds nice but the main issue I personally see with that bag philosophy is needing the same tool for 2 different tasks. I’m sure as heck not buying a second pair of 50 euro knipex because I have the other pair set aside for some other task.

Agreed. I’m kind of lucky that my area is full of elderly machinists so garage sales and estate sales are full of tools like that. Even crappy tools that are right there are better than a good tool somewhere else for me.
I do have a common tools basket too. Some pliers, wrenches, screw drivers, hammer.
