Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 week agoThey get born with I think 8 (gotta give my memory some slack. I’m old, and it was 20+ years ago). Then 6 die, leaving you with 2. Then they fight, and mate, and 1 dies.
But the last one should stay alive, and evolve.

I might be misremembering a bit then. I did get down to the last one, and I’m pretty sure he did evolve a bit, but I think he ate a spider or something and got sick and I wasn’t able to nurse him back to health. I was pretty bummed because I was pretty far into the game.
