  I think they mean that content addiction (which we generally see in a negative light and has negative consequences) is fed by content creation (which we usually see in a positive light and is something that gets encouraged).

  it’s awesome what we can create, like art. but then we live in this culture that’s all about creating “content” and consuming it, really hungrily. Like yay, we get to create more but people appreciate it less.

    I don’t think you have to inherently get into the line of “content creation” to create. Create for yourself, not others. Only share publicly if you think others would appreciate it, but sharing shouldn’t ever be the sole reason. If it is then you’re “doing art wrong”.

        Oh I think I’m finally understanding your angle now. You’re more sad about that even when at is created with the best intentions it still feeds into the machine of content consumption for those on the other side?
