I would usually recommend to just use !gardening@lemmy.world as the userbase isn’t that large at the moment, but you do you. Good luck in any case!

It’s just I find the wider gardening one a bit centred on different regions. The climates different, the plants are not always available. So thought something more local was worth a try.

On the other hand, seeing gardening in Australia during Northern hemisphere winter is nice. As I said, give it a try!
