I suppose this is a convenient go to to keep the status quo for people who speak about doing good things but don’t want to rock the boat. When change through peaceful means becomes impossible then non-peaceful events start to take place, and there won’t be any order compared to planned and coordinated transition awwy from the awful systems in place. Would you like to live through that instead?

Also some random dude running a bodega is not an oligarchy but nobody said it was. Oligarchies exist and their destruction is necessary for actually competitive free markets so the random dude with a bodega is not driven out of business in the first place.

And that’s what I was referring to with what I said.

Pay attention to the fucking context of the conversation you’re having and stop making strawmen such as suggesting I’m supporting oligarchy and the status quo by saying “Don’t shut down the bodegas.”
