But in reality, I also see how much disk space and RAM and CPU they take, heh. Maintainers just can’t help themselves.

Want to mention some? I have no containers using that at all.
Perhaps you never clean up as you move forward? It’s easy to forget to prune them.

Yep and I also want to add that you can use compose.yml to limit the CPU and RAM utilisation of each container, which can help in some cases.
