dmtalon@infosec.pub 2 weeks agoFor me, for my use case it’s primarily because of the size TV I want. Mine is going in the basement on a wall where I want the biggest TV I can afford. That means I could get an 83" screen in OLED or a 98-100" QLED. 15" difference is pretty dramatic.

Oh man, you’re missing out on OLED in a basement though. It’s so fantastic for dimly lit evironments that I’d take the smaller size any day.

Receives in our case the primary seating position is about 13 ft from the screen making the larger screen a little more important due to the layout. The couch is aligned with the side speakers where they can be and that’s where the seating is

Yep, I didn’t get my dedicated room, it just didn’t work out but I’m maximizing the space I have to work with.
TV is supposed to be delivered/installed today, hoping that goes smooth. Not something I would normally do, but these things are gigantic.
