  Let’s start from the beginning…

  • 1. Customer brings in a months long water damaged 2DS
  • 2. Front desk checks it in for diagnostics and repair, $60 up front
  • 3. Nasty rotten device comes to my repair bench to diagnose
  • 4. Open it up, slap full of months of corrosion and literal rust
  • 5. Inform front desk, they inform customer, grim odds
  • 6. Customer insists, try to clean it up and fix it
  • 7. Customer pays to order a new screen
  • 8. Alright fuckit, they’re determined, so I clean the corrosion
  • 9. Hurry up and wait while the screen is on order
  • 10. Screen comes in, clean the board again for good measure
  • 11. Install the screen, even test with a spare battery
  • 12. No dice, it never had a chance in the first place

  And I literally told the front desk and even the company boss that it had no chance to begin with. Was no sweat off my back, hell I probably made $80 wasting my time on the piece of literal shit anyways.

  Now, where in the hell did you get the idea that I was the one that dropped it in the toilet?

  Point is, stop giving toddlers electronics!
