PM_ME_VINTAGE_30S@lemmy.sdf.org 1 week agoBecause if the “”“democratic”“” rule of law results in a fascist government, then it is fascist and should be dismantled. No, you should not be allowed to vote in fascism. And liberal “democracies”, especially the United States, are not actually democratic.

Why shouldn’t the people be allowed to vote in fascism? The whole point of democracy is to give the people autonomy over their own destiny. If the people decide that fascism is their destiny who are you to tell them they can’t? Telling people what they can and cannot vote for is extremely fascist is it not?
DJT ran for president on a platform of mass deportations and border control. He then won both the popular vote and the Electoral College. He then enacted that policy. What is undemocratic about that?
