True, but this time he is clearly in decline, so republicans have far less to gain by keeping him, and plenty to gain by tossing him. He has been working to undermine plenty in his own party be “primarying” them. I think the majority of republicans in congress want him gone, but are just afraid to be the one that steps forward unless they all do…

I will eat my hat if he’s impeached and convicted. Impeachment alone is meaningless, as we already saw twice.
