JamBandFan1996@lemmy.ml 2 weeks ago2012 was when you could still easily upgrade your own ram, drive, fix your screen etc. if needed, modern MacBooks are not made like that. Also a 2012 i7 would not be fast enough for most people’s modern workloads. But like I said, they hardware is good, if it does break though, you are kinda fucked on mac
