Comment on Google AI Overviews put people at risk of harm with misleading health advice
FreedomAdvocate@lemmy.net.au 2 weeks agoThat goes for ALL medical advice you get on the internet, not just AI, unless the advice is “contact a doctor”.
AI is just summarising the stuff they would have done ordinarily through Google anyway. AI has really shone a light on just how many people will blindly accept whatever someone on the internet tells them.
