Not every credit union does that stuff for free, and not every place accepts credit unions as payments.

Your original statement was that credit unions don’t insure your savings, full stop. Don’t spread misinformation and then try to backpedal when you get called out.

I banked with a federally insured credit union that is free, does not have overdraft fees and have never had a single problem making any kind of payment. Yes, not every credit union does that, but that’s why you research before using a financial institution.
