Comment on It's quite impressive that most English speakers across the world understand each other, despite variations in accents/dialects

  I can’t comment on that because I’ve never been out that far but I do live in Winnipeg and we have a large french community … and I can say that I can understand and communicate in French with everybody here.

    I have distant cousins out that way due to one of my ancestors having 2 families at the same time.
