  That’s the official name for the sport in Finland (and I guess all over Europe). Nickname is jenkkifutis (yankee footie) and it’s short version is just jefu which is used a lot.

    In Italy we call football (as in soccer) “calcio”, but the american one Is literally called “football americano” in Italian.
