You keep thinking these people have this as a religious view when they have told you they are not vegans.

Go reread their comment and try to find where they are being rude. Your second paragraph is just an odd projection.

yup we need to eat food. It does not have to be meat centric or involve meat.

The 1996 McDonalds Monopoly game was one of the games that the sweepstakes company fixed, right?

After a few dozen you are tipsy. If there’s booze it’s a different story. This tasting always had Hans Reisetbauer near the door with his incredible eau de vies.

Even spitting you still swallow a bit. Most in the trade spit at tastings into the spit buckets. You’ll be fine trying 5 wines in an hour but I would be tasting dozens of wines for hours. It adds up after a while.

I think this is more for the random person that attacks people for being fans of things eg adults attacking adults because they like Legos

Legally speaking in the USA anything after the first is driving while intoxicated/under the influence (different states use DWI or DUI).
Working in the booze biz you are sadly correct though. I had a wine rep a few years back offer to pay for my parking in NYC if I went to a tasting. I told him I was taking the train and he was surprised. He shouldn’t be.

- Comment on Socialism is the actual teaching of Jesus 3 weeks ago:
That’s odd as historians think it alost certainly was a single guy as multiple groups pop up all talking about the sane guy in different parts of the world. We have no idea what he preached but he likely existed.
- Comment on Socialism is the actual teaching of Jesus 3 weeks ago:
Why would you use atheists.org as a source for this? They clearly aren’t historians and would have a biased take.
The current consensus is there had to be a guy likely named Yeshua who lived in or around Galilee who was looking to reform Judaism. Reformers of Judaism were incredibly common after Rome conquered Israel. In fact the rabbinical Jewish movement, which is what “modern Judaism” is part of, was started by the Pharisees who are mentioned throughout the New Testament in negative terms (believed to be because they competed with Yeshua’s followers).
The guy you think of as Jesus never existed but the consensus seems to be that it would be difficult for multiple groups all sharing the same views to pop up around the mediterranean if Yeshua never existed. That doesn’t mean Christianity is the correct interpretation of those views only that a guy named Yeshua had a bunch of followers
The fact is we don’t have any reason to think he never existed. We have reason to doubt claims that are religious in nature but it is unlikely that the entire faith was fabricated by Paul/Saul.

Even funnier is Nickelodeon bought the broadcasting rights to a Canadian kids program that did the slime gag. Slime wasn’t even “their” thing.

And think how those of us who watched “You Can’t Do That on Television” felt hearing kids describe all that as SNL with kids when we knew it was just a rip off of YCDTOT

Our founding fathers fought back against their government. At the very least they would wonder why people aren’t gathering in mobs outside the homes and offices of legislators demanding change.
- Comment on Luv Me Chips, 'ate Seagulls... 5 weeks ago:
The French person talked about killing them outside their home.
The guy in the article lost a french fry while eating in the space seagulls live. The only pests there are humans.
Was seagull guy going to starve because he lost a single french fry? No, he wasn’t. He killed a seagull because he’s a piece of shit. If you don’t want seagulls to eat your food maybe don’t eat in their home.
Both were examples of random completely unnecessary killings and it is messed up that you think this is ok. If a kid was killing animals just because we would place them in therapy.
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 5 weeks ago:
Is it less prone to crash? Is it any better overall? I liked the game and the tv show to a lesser degree.
- Comment on Luv Me Chips, 'ate Seagulls... 5 weeks ago:
Because the other poster is talking about both.
The fact specific animals, not pests, are being targeted isn’t a factor. If I kill an animal just gecause it is a random killing.
A rat that isn’t in your home or your eating your crops is not a pest. It is another animal and killing it because you see it on the street is a random killing.

That’s silly as sometimes video is preferable especially for things like repair and “how-to” instructions.
Not everyone has the same learning style you do.
