If you use a LTS sofware, then you have to live with problems that were fixed years ago.

LTS means long term support, that means you still get fixes of the LTS period. No, you don’t get the latest and greatest, but you do get software that works with hardware for a long period. You use what works for your use case, which is the whole point of all of this.

No you don’t. You get security fixes, but you don’t get the convenience feature fixing a problem in your workflow.
