When the rest of the world hates you for shit a minority of your country did, but succumb to generalized thinking and blame all Americans (looking at you, Europe), a guilt complex can be internalized.

Hating every American or having prejudices like believeng every American tourists are obnoxious is bad.
But saying you hate what “America” is doing is fair, because the Country is represented by your political class
