Cyberflunk@lemmy.world 1 day agoi’ve never understood dry shampoo for anything other than a one off. i used it in iraq and finally figured out it was causing me to get crazy dandruff. i talked to a corpsman about it, and they were like “just fucking shower, or stink, that shit is like washing your hands with sand, nothing is accomplished. shower jarhead.”
and ive lived that way ever since

fair hit. shit got weird over there. i had a lot of depression. showering was one of the signs of that. Marines weren’t big on mental health treatments that didn’t involve physical labor or a weight room.
