What’s a good way to pause during prints? Is there an easy way to stop at a certain y level and move the nozzle out of the way, then resume the print when you are done? Or do you just manually do it?
Comment on what do you use to add weight?

Drop a penny or two. Or a nut. Stainless steel ones seem heavier. But cost more.
Just make a cavity in your print. Also I pause and put in some glue when I drop it in so it doesn’t roll around inside.

Yeah in the slicer you can add “pause at layer”. What slicing software do you use? For Bambu and prusa, you just go to the preview, roll through the layers to find the one before it closes up. And right click on the little icon for thing on the slider that shows the layers. On the right side. And you get an option to “pause at layer”.

Nice, that’s handy. I use prusa but there are so many options that it’s hard to know what’s available.

Also, if you plan to put it inside during the print, try to preheat any metal you want to use. But make sure the heights roughly match, because the plastic will cool slower and distort more.
