Even at thrift stores it’s usually not too hard to fair a pair with matching size and resolution which are the two big things. Getting screens with identical pixel sizes makes all the difference.

I buy all my monitors on Craigslist because I am broke as hell and people unload 1080p monitors with chunky bezels cheaply
