regedit@lemmy.zip 1 week agoBut at least, for now, they still require you to connect to a network to receive updates and ads. Once they connect with no user interaction, to non-home networks, then we will be fucked!

One of these companies is gonna do a cost analysis on how much they could be making in additional ad revenue and how much it would cost to equip all their TVs with 5g antennas and pay for the data.
