I don’t think what im talking about is the same. Spent time and resources to have a few rounds of interviews. Ghost jobs tend not to go past the post the job stage.

Not necessarily. I’ve had 3 first-round interviews for positions that were later confirmed to not exist and “might” exist in the future

I find that hard to believe unless they had you interviewing with a mimum wage contractor. I mean its possible but makes no sense at all. Companies realize how much personnel cost and taking them away from projects to evaluate a person they have no intention of hiring is just burning money.

I wish it weren’t true, and they weren’t contractors. Staggering incompetence is now the standard level of quality I see from hiring managers across the board
