When I use the word “retard”, I’m not talking about disabled people. “Retard” is a word that can be used for more than stupid in the same way you can be “well off” or “financially stable”, but being “wealthy” or “ultra rich” is another ballpark. If you don’t like Fantastic Four: First Steps, because it was about the F4 trying to save their baby and their world from Galactus, then I’m sorry, you are beyond stupid, you are beyond unintelligent, you truly are retarded because you don’t fit the description of someone “stupid”.

That’s not how slurs work. That word is a slur, even if your intention isn’t explicitly bigoted. But in the content of your comment, you’re still using it exactly the way a bigot would use it as a slur.
