But when you look at things like canonization and other religions adding on (like Mormonism) it gets fuzzy. Yes, Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, but can you really be certain that each step of the process was 100% correct? You don’t think there’s any room for human error in canonization or translation?

This is a silly post. The Christian doctrine is that the Bible is the inspired word of God. So if Christianity is true, then yes, the Bible is reliable. Most of the doctrine in the Bible is by God (Jesus is God) or a guy Jesus appeared to in front of two other people and also prophesied to someone else that he should do missionary work. Also gave him His holy spirit to the point he raised dead people to life.

“Inspired word of God” differs by denomination though right?
I could be wrong, but I thought some viewed it as the exact word of God, others as the word of God as interpreted by the prophets
