Mickey7@lemmy.world 6 days agoThe point was that “some people’s” definition of racism vs just funny is IMPOSED on everyone else. I only wish I had the moral clarity of knowing without a doubt that everything that I believed in was correct and that my mission was to correct any who dissented

People can make racist jokes. But the punchline has to be more than just “haha racism”. If only racists are laughing at your joke, it’s not a funny joke, you’re just being racist.
