Dave2@lemmy.blahaj.zone 18 hours agoif the problem was with the e, that just means how many times you multiply it with 10, 1.87e4 = 1.87 * 10^4 = 18700. (ignore me writing it with an exponent in my original “calculation”)

Yeah, the exponent threw me for quite a loop, too. Had me wondering what kind of formula you used to get Euler’s Number involved. 🙃
