::: spoiler Explanation Regular Show is a (brilliant, IMO) western cartoon that eventually did an anime parody episode that started with parodying the NGE opening - which is what I’ve linked above. The plot of Regular Show builds up slowly so I wouldn’t actually recommend jumping in with this episode as I’m not sure it would make much sense… but I couldn’t resist linking it anyway, sorry.
