The Australian ones (whitetails) are more populous, venemous, and aggressive than you could imagine in summer. Iâd have a kill one inside my house almost every day.
It probably doesnât help that our houses seal worse than an average tent.

Did a quick google, they arenât lethal, and they hide from people and eat other spiders, so theyâre one of the good ones. Surprisingly very few people die from the horrors of Australia, theyâve got a really robust setup for getting people anti-venom. Virtually no one dies from spiders in Australia, the last reported death was in 1980.
