Surely the issue is getting people to go to pubs when they’re open, not that they’re not open later.

Seeing a pub advertise clean filtered air would be interesting.
One assumes it would deliver beer, coffee, and so on, but a recognition that gathering increases COVID risk, and a set of precautions, would be a good USP.
