The tools of repression are in place and whoever would succeed Trump, Vance I suppose, would wield those tools much harder to cement his place. Examples are Stalin taking over after Lenin or Maduro after Chavez. It will get so much worse with Trump gone and a less popular figure following in his footsteps. It’s the dictator playbook 101.

Yeah, considering all the rules the current joke of a Supreme Court have recently rewritten handing the Oval Office way more power than it should ever have, I have to agree.
