Nazi Germany had a bad geographical location. Strong powers to the east and west, including the UK as unsinkable aircraft carrier and staging ground for invasion. The USA has none of these issues. It’s surrounded by big oceans and militarily weak neighbors. A naval invasion of the USA is basically impossible.
The USA can do whatever they want in all countries in the Americas. Not even a worldwide coalition could stop that.
The USA could invade and annex Mexico and Canada quite easily.
The USA can also afford to intervene military across the globe, get stuck in a quagmire for years, and it doesn’t endanger their control over their own country.

launching an attack on either mexico or canada would be just about one of the dumbest things he could ever do. you actually believe the people advising him are going to let him do something like that? Something that would endanger all of their careers and their current well cemented grasp on power. There is no way.
