Not Nazis, fascists. In the early stages of fascist uprisings, many different groups are allowed. As they gain power, more and more of those groups become outsiders. In Nazi Germany, many party leaders, including Hitler, had their favorite jews that they protected from the holocaust.

  Why? They were underlings and family members, it worked just like nepotism. It’s not anything exciting, it’s a small historical detail
