She is famous for playing Bandora on the Sentai series Zyuranger (Rita Repulsa in the US localization called Power Rangers)
They definitely made her look ugly for the role, but she was a cutie even when she got older.

I don’t even think she looks ugly in the OP photo. Her smile is radiant.
