  Also, correct me if I’m wrong as I might be reading too much into this but:
  Arnold looks like he’s suprised by his picture being take in this, and I feel like these “candid style” shots are a modern marketing technique?
  I feel like a marketing photo with a celeb taken back then would go for different, less natural-like, more planned style.

    Yep, the candid “Polaroid” aesthetic was not a thing in the 80s

    Why take a shitty photo for promotional material when you can use a proper camera?

    Now it’s the opposite, use thousand euro mobile phones or SLRs to take gigapixel photos and the make them look shitty in post 😆
