1. he made a lot of people feel powerless with his manipulative debate tactics. People resort to violence when they feel powerless
2. he was asked about mass shootings before being shot in public. Coincidentally, there was a high school mass shooting in Colorado the same day.
3. We all have to be aware of and prepare for the risk of homicide whenever leaving the house
