Weather has a big impact on mosquito numbers & feeding behavior:
- Cooler temperatures = more mosquitoes
- Higher humidity = more mosquitoes
- More rainfall = more mosquitoes (for some species)

Climate is moving north, thus your area is likely getting wetter and more humid.

Partially correct, mosquitos prefer warm humid environments with stagnant water to lay their eggs also they suck at flying so if it’s windy outside you won’t be bothered be many.

I’m in the swampy part of VA, around where we literally lost colonies to mosquitoes. I’m also a mosquito magnet, where most people don’t even get but if I’m outside with them, but they’re all over me. It’s great…
