Bicycle tires are generally at a higher pressure than car tires. There’s a lot less volume though.

Big tire(1550lbs/703kg) with big pressure(150psi). That cage is 820lbs/372kg. That is a staggering amount of energy.

Super high pressure tires are supposed to be taken off and filled inside a tire cage for this reason. There are videos, I remember one where a guy had his clothes blown off, others not so lucky.

Other day, noticed a digital air pump warned not to be near the tire while inflating… oof!! Poor guy
