Corn@lemmy.ml 3 days agoFascism doesn’t have to model reality, just knit together a story that confirms underlying biases of the “middle class” without questioning the system that privileged them, but is failing.
Leftists have the advantage in that we can describe exactly why your material conditions are eroding while we are more productive than ever, but for someone who was privileged under capitalism, its easier to believe the system that privileged them is good and just, its just foreigners and minorities who are exploiting them.
