I don’t typically waste my time with fairy stories, but sure, I’ll give you some highlights:
“This is what Allah says… ‘Now go and strike the Infidel and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.” Surah 27:63
If I have to do violence, I prefer to not as soon as possible. I do not do violence to children. And why would you kill the animals? At least with surviving family you could make the argument they’ll come for revenge. This is just bad advice, period.
“Happy is he who repays the infidel for what they have done to us – he who seizes their infants and dashes them against the rocks.” – Surah 34:12
Again with the child-killing. This is supposed to make you happy, is it?
“So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. At daybreak the woman went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down at the door and lay there until daylight. Yeah… I don’t think I need to say why I disagree with this. It’s just disgusting.

My wife is my equal. I live my life to lift her up. The idea that she should subjugate herself to me is repulsive and the exact opposite of how I want to live my life with her.
“When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again.” – Surah 21: 7-8
Slavery and misogyny in one.

Misinformed. Someone probably thought they were making a point by labeling Biblical verses as from the Qur’an; unfortunately, violence and misogyny and paedophilia is not limited to the Abrahamic religions. I’ll update my original post so it doesn’t contain that misinformation.

Eh, not really. Trichinosis is very much real and, before people could reliably check the temperature of the meat being cooked, “a pork chop could kill you!” (Chris Rock in some early 00s special, lol). Today, it’s mostly a sign of belonging, and proof you can restrain yourself at least a little from all and every pleasure. And I stand by an alcohol prohibition, or at least being wary of its consumption. I’ve never met a single person who wouldn’t be an overall better human being if they simply stopped drinking/relying on it to handle situations, emotions and thoughts instead of approaching them soberly. You can tell me you enjoy booze (ofc!), but you can’t tell me in earnest it’s eudaimonically ‘good for you’.
